Chris While and Julie Matthews

Chris While (Vocals, Guitar, Banjo, Dulcimer, Bodhran and Percussion) & Julie Matthews (Vocals, Piano, Guitar, Mandolin and Bouzouki) are breathtaking singers, songwriters, musicians and performers whose energy and commitment to their craft and their audience is boundless. They have been hailed the best and most hard working acoustic duo on the folk roots scene.

"A little bit of blues, a small touch of country and quite a lot of folk, you wonder what all the fuss is about over Shawn Colvin, Lisa Loeb and the rest."

Wild Camping

Just to let you know that Ruberslaw Wild Woods Camping are keeping their camp site open over the Folk Festival. If anyone is looking for somewhere to stay and likes to bring a tent, they should contact us after visiting our website www.ruberslaw.co.uk

Important at this time of year - showers and toilets have underfloor heating and lots of hot water, and there is a good kitchen on site with cooker, fridge, kettle, microwave etc, and campers can get one of our firebowls with bags of logs to sit around.
